I recently had the pleasure of having Sofia take care of my two dogs: a Labrador and a Shih Tzu and I couldn't have been happier with the experience.
During my time away, Sofia kept me regularly updated with messages, photos, and videos of my dogs. She also followed my instructions to the letter, including feeding schedules, and exercise routines.
When I returned home, my dogs were happy, relaxed, and clearly well-cared for. She had made sure the house was as tidy as I left it.
Overall, I would highly recommend Sofia to anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and caring pet sitter.

I met with Sofia in an Erasmus youth exchange program and have been good friends ever since. She was amongst the one or two people that had the most compassionate relationships with the many animals at the barn we were staying. In particular she would effortlessly communicate, play and take care of a half-blind dog and a fully-blind cat, which I found seriously demanding. I was also impressed by her hometown story of how she took care of a regular pigeon found injured,until it fully recuperated and flew again. I found it hard to believe,but as she demonstrated with pictures it kept visiting her yard as it was feeling like home. She clearly has a "sixth sense" for animals, particularly domestic ones.

Hello there, I'd love to take care of your pet!
My name is Sofia and I am a 25-year-old student, currently based in Amsterdam. Moving to the Netherlands half a year ago to pursue my studies meant that I'd have to leave my dog in the care of my parents until I finish with my degree.
My motivation to care for animals grew stronger and stronger as I was growing up and my parents made sure that I was feeling familiar and confident around smaller and bigger animals from a very young age.
Having -temporarily- parted from my own dog, I know that finding the right person to look after your loved ones can be pretty challenging. I feel that Pawshake gives me a great opportunity to fuel my enthusiasm and experience towards the care of the pets of others.
I aspire to provide your pet with safety, care, long walks, and of course lots of cuddling and love, always under a mutual agreement with the owner in regard to the pet's traits and needs.
