Hello!
Ever since I was 10 we have always had at least one dog at home. This number has steadily risen as I left home, when I got a dog of my own, fostered rescue dogs, petsat for anyone and everyone... Currently my permanent resident is Merlin, a Spanish greyhound mix!
I am for sure a big lover of multi-dog households, but Merlin is the main reason that other dogs have such a wonderful time when they stay with me. He is balanced, calm and social. Other dogs naturally look to him as a role model, and he is delighted to play the part. Together we spend many hours a day walking in parks, at the beach, through the forest... and a buddy or two for Merlin to enjoy his walks (or naps) with are always welcome!
Past dogs I've owned include a Maltese who was with us for a beautiful 15 years, a dalmatian who blessed us for a similarly long time, two foster greyhounds (one of which ended up a foster failure...), a lhasa apso mix, and a Yorkshire terrier mix.
I am prepared and willing to administer medications (oral and injection), and/or tend to healing wounds. For housesitting, I request that you allow me to bring my own dog Merlin along.
