Thank you for your feedback. I made every effort to provide responsible care for Buddy and kept communication transparent throughout the stay, sharing daily updates, photos, and videos. You also knew that I don’t speak Dutch — all of our in-person communication was in English. When you later sent short Dutch messages, including care instructions, I did my best to understand them using translation tools. To support clearer communication, I even translated some of my replies into Dutch, though I couldn’t fully verify the accuracy. This was my first time caring for Buddy, and I relied entirely on the information you provided. It was only during the stay that I gradually realized he needs extra attention outdoors — something that wasn’t clearly explained at the start. Had that been communicated earlier, I believe our collaboration would have gone more smoothly. If there was anything I was doing incorrectly, I would have appreciated being told directly during the stay, so I could make adjustments immediately. At the same time, I understand that as the sitter, it’s also my responsibility to ask the right questions early on and not rely solely on what is provided. In hindsight, I should have asked more detailed questions and confirmed key instructions in writing. I’ve learned from this and will apply it in future bookings. I hope your future experiences on Petbnb go more smoothly.
